[BOM_UTF16LE] outputs a Unicode byte order mark which indicates that a file contains little-endian UTF-16 characters. This constant should be output as the first characters of a file to indicate to other applications that it contains UTF-16 characters.
Big-endian characters are output on Mac OS X. Little-endian characters are output on Windows and Linux.
